The game includes a special Wild symbol, the CANNON BALL, which substitutes for all symbols except scatters and the big 3x1 pirates in the BOARDING FEATURE. In the BOARDING FEATURE, triggered randomly, up to five big 3x1 pirate symbols can jump onto the reels, turning them into Wild Reels that substitute for all symbols except the Scatter.
The SCATTER symbol triggers the BATTLE feature when three or more appear. This feature changes the reel strips, excluding Wild Symbols and Scatters. Two ships are placed at each end of the reels. During each free spin, a random draw determines if a WILD TO RIGHT symbol (CANNON BALL) appears on the leftmost reel, moving right with each spin and potentially sinking the right ship with three hits. Similarly, a WILD TO LEFT symbol can appear on the rightmost reel, moving left with each spin and sinking the left ship with three hits.
There's no limit to the number of Wilds that can appear per spin, but new Wilds won't replace existing ones. If WILD TO RIGHT and WILD TO LEFT collide, they both disappear immediately. The BATTLE feature ends when one or both ships sink during a spin.
